Care that looks at why, not just what.
I specialize in IBS, chronic digestive conditions, and the anxiety that often comes with them — helping patients who’ve been through the tests, tried the treatments, and still aren’t fully better.

Credentials & Training
I’ve spent over ten years helping patients in Beaverton who are struggling with digestive conditions that conventional medicine hasn’t fully resolved — IBS, chronic bloating, constipation, and the anxiety that so often comes alongside them.
My approach draws on Korean acupuncture and classical herbal medicine, with particular attention to the gut–brain connection. Most of my patients arrive after years of normal test results and temporary fixes.
“What I look for is the underlying pattern — why your system is dysregulated — and I build treatment around that, not just the symptoms on the surface.”
I completed my Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with specialty training in digestive and gut–brain health. Every appointment is unhurried. I take time to listen carefully, observe, and adjust your care as your body responds over time.
If you’ve felt frustrated by treatments that only partially help, I’d like to understand your pattern and see whether this approach is the right fit for you.
The body responds best when it is supported, not pushed
I don’t use fixed protocols. Every patient has a different pattern, identified through careful listening and traditional diagnostic methods including pulse assessment.
Treatment decisions are based on how your body responds visit by visit. There is no rush. Care is adjusted gradually to match your body’s own pace of change.
Rather than targeting individual symptoms, I look at how your nervous system, digestion, and overall regulation are working together — and where the breakdown is happening.

IBS treatment that looks at why, not just what
Most patients with IBS have had extensive testing that comes back normal. That’s not a dead end — it tells us the problem is one of regulation, not structure. The gut and nervous system aren’t communicating well, and that’s what acupuncture is particularly effective at addressing.
Many patients begin noticing meaningful change within several weeks of consistent treatment.
